I decided to fast after my weight hit 175.6 on 3/1/10. In reality, that was probably just water weight, but my water weight has a tendency to turn into real weight...and I didn't want to wait around for that to happen.

I'm in the horrible habit of weighing every day. In my experience, weight will fluctuate on IF, going up after the eating until 6pm day and going down after the fasting until 6pm day (if you weigh before you eat at 6pm). I'll do my official weigh in once a week on a "fasting until 6pm day". I have a feeling weight loss might be slow but at least if I can make this my lifestyle, it will be permanent.
